How it works

1. 1. Pick a mode. Real self, real self with persona, declared alien, declared non-human, hybrid/contactee, fictional persona, roleplay character, researcher, organization, classified, or unknown. The mode tells other users how to read you.
2. 2. Pick what you’re open to. Dating, flirting, real-world meetups, online chat, roleplay, friendship, UFO discussion, creative collab, events, watch parties, lore research, content creation, just browsing. Mix and match.
3. 3. Send a signal.10 flavors of first contact, from a quiet “Friendly” to a structured “Meetup Interest.” Receivers accept, decline, ignore. Mutual signals = match.
4. 4. Transmit. Matches open a real-time chat (SSE) with OOC toggle for stepping out of character.
5. 5. Propose first contact. When both sides have opted into real-world meetups, propose a coffee / drinks / stargazing / UFO event with a date and a public location. Receiver accepts or declines.

Why not a regular dating app?

Most personals apps assume everyone wants the same thing the same way — usually a date with a verified human. Cosmic Match assumes you might want a date, you might want a roleplay scene, you might want to discuss the 1952 White House transcripts with someone who takes them seriously, you might be a contactee who needs the language for it. The platform supports all of that in one inbox, with clear labels so signals route to the right wavelength.
